Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed: May 17, 2026
HelloFriendo is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continue to improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards.
Our Commitment
HelloFriendo aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including auditory, cognitive, neurological, physical, speech, and visual impairments.
Conformance Status
WCAG 2.2 Level AA is the current target. This site is in partial conformance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partial conformance means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the standard.
We are actively working to identify and resolve remaining issues so that the site reaches full conformance.
Compatibility With Browsers and Assistive Technology
The site is designed to be compatible with the following:
- Recent versions of major desktop and mobile browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
- Modern screen readers, including NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, and TalkBack
- Full keyboard navigation, with visible focus indicators
- Browser zoom up to 200 percent without loss of content or functionality
Technical Specifications
Accessibility of the site relies on the following technologies to work with your browser and any assistive technologies installed on your device:
- HTML
- CSS
- JavaScript
- WAI-ARIA
Reduced Motion
We respect the prefers-reduced-motion setting. When this setting is enabled in your operating system or browser, non-essential animations and transitions are reduced or disabled.
Limitations and Alternatives
Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Known limitations include:
- A small number of decorative animations may persist outside of the reduced-motion preference, which we are reviewing.
- Some older imagery and embedded media may have sparse or missing alternative text, which we are updating as part of an ongoing content audit.
If you encounter content you cannot access, contact us at [email protected] and we will provide the information in an alternative format.
Feedback
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our service. Please let us know if you encounter accessibility barriers by emailing [email protected].
We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days.
Enforcement Procedure
If you are not satisfied with our response to your accessibility feedback, you may contact the relevant accessibility enforcement body in your EU member state. A directory of national enforcement bodies under the European Accessibility Act is maintained by the European Commission.
Assessment Approach
Conformance is assessed through a combination of self-evaluation, automated testing tools, and manual review using keyboard navigation and screen readers.
